With established national accounts and significant growth potential, we are seeking an energetic and highly motivated Trailer Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive growth, and contribute to the continued success of our organization.


Position Summary:

The Trailer Sales Manager will oversee and drive the performance of the sales team, focusing on individual productivity, overall company growth, and meeting or exceeding sales quotas and objectives. The role requires exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and industry expertise to ensure the team delivers outstanding results and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team while fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
  • Monitor team performance, provide regular coaching, and manage performance to achieve sales objectives.
  • Approve and coordinate team schedules, including PTO requests, to maintain smooth operations.


Sales Operations Management:

  • Monitor and manage CRM systems to ensure timely and balanced quote distribution.
  • Oversee the order process to ensure timely and accurate handling of sales.
  • Assist in quoting and pricing to maintain timely completion and support team goals.


Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan, including both digital and physical marketing strategies.
  • Plan and oversee inventory management, including ordering and pricing stock trailers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trailer partners and end users.


Customer and Partner Engagement:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and collaborate with sales team members to address concerns promptly.
  • Identify upsell opportunities and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to promote trailer sales and expand market reach.
  • Proactively gather customer feedback to improve products/services.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales management (minimum of 3 years), preferably in trailer, automotive, heavy equipment sales or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software and proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Experience with digital tools (e.g., SEO, online ads, social media) is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities to drive strategic goals and deliver results.


Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.


Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist as needed to perform job duties.
  • Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.


What You’ll Gain:

  • Compensation: Base salary of $75,000 plus commission, averaging between $100,000 - $120,000 during your first year.
