Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, fast and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. Aside from making and serving drinks, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work space, as well as providing excellent customer service & ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, shots, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated individuals
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with customers at all times
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a high volume fast paced environment
- Reliable transportation
- Extensive knowledge of various drink recipes & beers
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Strong cash handling skills and ability to perform retail math calculations accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and inventory management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional time management skills to ensure prompt service to customers
