Job summary :
We have an immediate opening for a qualified heavy-duty forklift operator. Responsible for loading and offloading structural steel from trailers. Need dependable, motivated individual to join our team long-term.
Responsibilities :
- Load trailers with heavy structural steel members for deliveries to construction sites.
- Offload structural steel and other material from trailers.
- Stage received steel material in yard.
- Carefully load steel onto fabrication equipment.
- Load and unload paint racks and sandblasting racks.
- Operate forklift in a safe manner.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed. Qualifications :
- Three years’ experience operating heavy-duty forklift.
- Must be dependable and able and willing to follow directions.
- Must be able to work under frequent supervision.
- Must be able and willing to be trained in different production areas.
