We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Logistics Dispatch Clerk to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth transportation operations by coordinating with drivers, addressing their concerns, and maintaining clear communication throughout their shifts. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a problem-solving mindset to handle real-time logistics challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
Driver Communication & Coordination :
Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers as they arrive and depart.
- Provide detailed load assignments, delivery schedules, and route updates to ensure timely deliveries.
- Track driver progress, monitor check-ins, and ensure all arrival and departure times are accurately logged.
- Communicate last-minute changes in routes, load assignments, or schedules to drivers efficiently.
Handling Driver Concerns & Issue Resolution :
Address any concerns or complaints from drivers with professionalism and a problem-solving approach.
Logistics & Documentation :
Ensure all dispatch records, driver logs, and shipping paperwork are accurate and up to date.
