About the Role
The Technical Services Supervisor oversees on-site administrative and technical management for Electrical and Mechanical operations, providing a hands-on approach. This role requires utilizing working knowledge of electrical systems, including control and industrial wiring, pipe fitting, plumbing, welding, shop machinery, sheet metal, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls, and instrumentation to maintain plant equipment at optimal levels.
Responsibilities
- Prepare documentation for site access, laydown, and logistics for contractors and vendors.
- Organize, coordinate, and supervise in-house crafts and subcontractors on construction and maintenance projects.
- Provide direct oversight and development of Maintenance Tooling Leaders and their teams, including Maintenance Technicians and Tool Die Makers.
- Support safety, quality, cost, and delivery improvement initiatives.
- Drive preventative maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) functions and optimization.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies throughout areas of responsibility.
- Assist in the professional development of the Manufacturing Services Organization.
- Execute the site's reliability strategy in partnership with technical maintenance leadership.
