Full Charge Bookkeeper

FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER/ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

Our 50-year-old family owned & operated construction company is in search of an accounting candidate who is a full charge bookkeeper to handler the books for our home building companies and land development companies.

You will be responsible for assisting the Controller with administrative duties including, but not limited to: accounts payable, account reconciliations, monthly closings, recording of settlements & general office operations.

· Regular timely attendance

· Ability to prioritize/execute to achieve desired company & project goals without excess supervision

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

· Proficient in computer skills especially the use & understanding of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Working knowledge of office equipment

· Experience working with Quickbook required – experience with other builder accounting systems, such as Marksystems equipment is a plus

· High school diploma required - additional college such as an associate degree or bachelor’s degree is very valuable

· Previous experience in construction is helpful, but not required
