ASSIGNMENT SUMMARY
DUTIES.
You will apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
You will Compile and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions also prepare financial statements.
Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for other managers.
Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
Install, modify, document, and coordinate implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.
Devise and implement system for general accounting.
Make recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
Conduct studies and submit recommendations for improving the organization's accounting operation.
Collect appropriate data and prepares federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilites include assisting and training employees; and resolving problems when necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, sircumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule iorm.
