Handling Systems and Conveyors is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our quality control team. In this position, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all products meet our established requirements for reliability and workmanship, as well as other quality control program standards.
Quality Inspector performs inspections on machined components. The Quality Inspector will need to have sufficient experience running a Zeiss CMM Machine and Faro inspection equipment.
Quality Control Inspector/CMM Operator
Quality Control Inspectors use a variety of soft skills and industry knowledge to ensure products are up to standards, including:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
- Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, calipers, Zeiss CMM Machine, and Faro Equipment.
- Understands the latest standards of GD&T
- In-depth understanding of company standards
- Up-to-date knowledge of federal and industry standards and best practices
- Blueprint reading capabilities.
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift to 50lbs.
Experience REQ
Quality Control Inspectors should have at least a high school diploma or GED. These candidates should also complete on-the-job-training or have previous experience in quality control in their intended industry. Must have extensive knowledge of GD&T, as well as Programming and running a Zeiss CMM machine, along with Faro Equipment. Needs to have knowledge of Calypso and Polyworks.
