Director of Home Health Services – MassHealth Program
About Us:
Hands-On Community Care is a growing healthcare organization dedicated to providing top-quality home health services. We are seeking a highly experienced Health care personnel to serve as the Director of Home Health Services and oversee our newly approved MassHealth contract.
Job Summary:
The Director of Home Health Services will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with MassHealth home health policies, regulations, and billing requirements. This individual will oversee the hiring of personnel, patient admissions, and operational procedures to ensure the highest level of care for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the MassHealth Home Health program and ensure compliance with all state regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for home health services in accordance with MassHealth guidelines.
- Manage the admission process, ensuring all cases meet MassHealth eligibility criteria.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, and training of home health staff per MassHealth requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and claims processing for MassHealth reimbursement.
- Monitor quality assurance and ensure all services meet regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with staff, caregivers, and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality care.
- Stay up to date on all MassHealth policy changes and update company procedures accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Must be a degree holder (HEALTHCARE).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in home health management.
- Strong knowledge of MassHealth regulations, billing, and compliance for home health services.
- Experience in staff hiring, onboarding, training and documentation under MassHealth guidelines.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and home health billing software.
