Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Non-Medical Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using a Hoyer lift and performing safe and dignified transfers for individuals with mobility challenges. This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Use Hoyer lift and other transfer techniques to assist clients in moving safely between locations (e.g., from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to bathroom).
- Ensure client comfort and safety during transfers, maintaining proper body mechanics and posture.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Prepare and assist with meals, ensuring client nutritional needs are met.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Monitor and document client progress, noting any changes in condition and reporting to supervisors.
- Provide transportation assistance as needed.
