Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to work with the people we support as an In-Home Direct Support Professional (DSP)
What You’ll Do: Work directly with people with developmental disabilities assisting them with day to day living activities. As an In-Home DSP you will support individuals with working on various activities in a home environment and in community settings including meal planning, grocery shopping, or household chores, etc.
This position may require you to transport individuals in company vehicles. You will be paid extra for driving.
Schedule: This is a part-time position providing assistance and support in the person's home environment and in community settings.
Skillset Needed for the Job: Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible and willing to adapt to change. Know the value of communication. Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals.

Requirements: Must be 18 years old. Must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance. Must be able to pass all background checks. Experience not required.
Pay: Starting pay is $17 an hour. We pay more for experience and if you have a CNA license. Incentives also available.
