Position Title: Physical Therapy Technician/Office Assistant
Full Time: 36-40 hours per week

The physical therapy technician/office assistant position is a very important part of the team, and requires an applicant who has the ability to wear several hats throughout the day. This position was created as a mid-level position with plans for the employee to be promoted to a more senior position at a later date when management deems appropriate and as the company grows. At the same time, if the employee enjoys this role they may choose to remain in this position.
Ultimately, this position will help expose the employee’s strengths/likes and grow the employee into the position/career that they enjoy and excel at the most.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Physical therapist technician duties
-Assisting physical therapists or PTAs with patient care
-Collaborating with the physical therapist with patient care
-Assisting with filming home exercise prescription videos for patients
-Sanitizing between patients and keeping clean work environment
-Setting patients up on modalities when prescribed by physical therapist

Office Assistant Duties:
-Distributing patient paperwork
-Checking patients in/out. Taking patient payments.
-Answering phone calls
-Calling patients and scheduling patients

-Assisting with marketing/social media

-Contacting Doctor's offices when needed

-Weekly patient compliance meeting
-Active discussion on suggestions for improvement in any area of the culture or company.

-Friendly: every patient will be treated like family. Also friendliness goes a long way when meeting with representatives of other businesses and potential customers.

- Ability to Multitask: This position requires the ability to multitask with patient care, phone calls, scheduling, taking payments, and assisting the therapists.
-Adaptable: Change is constant as business grows so someone who can adapt to unique situations and circumstances is needed.
-Caring: We are in a profession centered around caring for people. Someone in this position must be genuine and called to care.
-Posses social skills: Poor communication can be linked back to the root cause of most problems in the work place. Being a good communicator and expressing your ideas/concerns is encouraged for personal and professional development. Someone in this position should be able to talk to anyone that comes in through our doors.

-Driven: There will be monthly and quarterly goals to be met. A person who will be successful in this position will be goal oriented, driven, and creative in finding ways to reach our goals.

$17-19 per hour AND monthly bonus of up to $650 per month. Also 401-K benefits and PTO available after 3 months of working.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
