Teach English to Immigrants and Refugees - Gresham Library (age 18 ) Referral
Torus bridges gaps between people and communities by facilitating transformative experiences of language and culture exchange.
We offer free drop-in English classes for adult learners of English at sites across the Portland metro area. Our classes are high energy and multi-level, often featuring students from five or six different language backgrounds. As a teacher, our classes are challenging, rewarding, and a lot of fun.
You don’t need any background as an ESOL teacher to join our team. Torus offers comprehensive training for aspiring teachers, and we also need volunteers to help our classes run smoothly.

This class meets Thursdays from 4 to 5 : 30 pm at the Gresham branch of the Multnomah County Library, from January 23 to March 27, 2025. You can volunteer for any class during this term.
