As a Project Manager, you will oversee the successful execution of our most critical and complex projects, ensuring seamless coordination across scheduling, resource allocation, and communication between the Projects Team, clients, technicians, and contractors. You will lead the team in maintaining project efficiency, optimizing margins, and upholding high-quality standards. Additionally, you will provide strategic direction by supporting the Director of Operations in managing business operations, collaborating with Sales on project kick-offs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Through strong leadership and operational oversight, you will play a key role in enhancing team performance, streamlining processes, and ensuring the long-term success of our installation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and support the Projects Team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Hold regular check-ins with team members to review SMART goals and track progress.
- Act as the first point of communication and assistance for the team, escalating major issues to the Director of Operations.
2. Operational & Business Support
- Assist the Director of Operations with the overall operations of the business.
- Provide insights on project performance, team productivity, and process improvements.
- Help implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and service quality.
3. Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule and manage installation appointments, ensuring efficient technician deployment.
- Verify job details and scope are accurately communicated to both technicians and customers.
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed to maintain efficiency.
4. Sales & Project Kick-Offs
- Communicate with the Sales Team to ensure smooth project transitions from quote to execution.
- Review project scope, expectations, and financial details before scheduling.
- Ensure customers and technicians receive clear, accurate project information.
5. Financial & Operational Oversight
- Ensure each job meets the approved margin and follows company financial guidelines.
- Track project costs and identify opportunities to optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to resolve any budgetary concerns.
6. Reporting & Customer Communication
- Maintain clear and timely communication with customers regarding project status and completion.
- Generate and submit reports detailing job completion, quality metrics, and any exceptions.
- Address customer inquiries and escalate concerns when necessary.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all documentation and reports are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Conduct regular audits to confirm project data accuracy.
- Maintain a 98% First-Time Success Rate by ensuring proper planning and execution of installations.

Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field (required).
- 3 years of experience in project management, operations, or scheduling, preferably in the automotive or field service industry.
- Experience managing teams and leading cross-functional collaboration.
- Prior experience in aftermarket vehicle installations or field service operations is a plus.
