Your impact
Handshake is expanding into AI research and development, building a world-class network of expert Fellows - PhDs, researchers, and subject matter specialists - who contribute to cutting-edge AI through specialized research, model evaluation, and domain-specific applications. We're looking for a Product Manager to develop our product strategy for managing and engaging with this expert network, ensuring Fellows have the requisite tools to be successful in their roles.
This role is a unique opportunity to build brand-new products within a broader organization, shaping a new initiative at Handshake while collaborating with design, operations, and partnerships teams to create a seamless and rewarding Fellow experience.
This role is located in our San Francisco office, right off the Montgomery BART station, and this team is traditionally in the office five days a week.
Your role
- You’ll ensure that your squad has a cohesive and differentiated product strategy.
- You’ll represent your squad and product area to executives, and translate company-wide strategies to your squad and into your roadmap.
- You’ll inspire your team on the product vision.
- You’ll hold your squads accountable to clear goals that ensure they are tracking effectively towards their strategy.
- You’ll lead your team and stakeholders in prioritizing and collaborating on the roadmap while ensuring we have appropriate alignment with appropriate stakeholders.
- You’ll work closely with other key leaders in the Era team (i.e. design, marketing, engineering, data, GTM) as well as leaders in other lines of businesses as needed to ensure cohesive strategy and execution.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
