Handyman/Remodeler

Job Summary:
Handyman and Sam is a family-owned and operated small business looking to expand our network of skilled laborers with experience in drywall, flooring, tiling, carpentry repair, door installation, TV installations, light plumbing and electrical, remodeling, and more. You will be in charge of your own schedule, and will need to be able to use Jobber to manage your schedule and jobs. Technicians should be skilled in customer service as you will be the face of the company when performing your duties.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various handyman tasks including drywall repair, flooring installation, carpentry work, painting, tile work, and general maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with various household projects.
• Complete tasks efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent service.
• Communicate effectively with the owner regarding scheduling, job progress, and coordinating details.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in drywall, flooring, carpentry repair, tiling and other handyman tasks.
• Must have own tools and reliable transportation (Truck Preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Must be comfortable with technology and able to use an app to manage schedule and job details.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Pay: $22-$38 per hour, depending on experience. This position is offered as a 1099 independent contractor job.
