Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including order fulfillment and inventory management, and will be responsible for maintaining the flow of goods in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments to ensure they match purchase orders.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products for delivery.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload goods safely.
- Maintain an organized stock area by utilizing warehouse management systems to track inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely dispatch of e-commerce orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while handling packages and operating machinery.
- Complete deliveries on a weekly basis with company vehicle.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including familiarity with package handling.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus. Training is provided.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
