What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst/Management Trainee position at Hanes Companies?

Responsibilities include:
- Complete accounting oversight of a business unit that generates $13M in revenues (Hanes Dye & Finishing). Responsibilities include:
- Month end closing process
- Budgeting/Forecasting
- Inventory procedures
- Financial reporting & communication with operations staff and senior management
- Balance sheet review & reconciliations
- Internal/External Audits
- Assistance with business units that generate $600M in revenues (Hanes GEO Components and Fabric Converting). Responsibilities include assisting with:
- Month end closing process
- Budgeting/Forecasting
- Balance sheet review & Reconciliations
- Review of location operations & communication with branches to determine their needs from the accounting team.
- Internal/External audits
- Reporting automation/efficiencies
- Acquisition due diligence and accounting
- Work with controller and CFO on any additional accounting needs as they come up
- Work with compliance and cost team to help with their needs as they come up
- Other responsibilities would include assisting corporate accounting efforts
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required. A CPA license is desired but not required. Candidates must have strong analytical as well as effective oral and written communication skills.
