What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver position at Hanford Elementary School District?
ASSIGNMENT: Transportation Department – 4.5 hrs. per day split shift, Monday through Friday, 10 months per year. Regularly assigned shift will be 6:26 a.m. - 9:27 a.m., and 2:25 - 3:54 p.m. (Schedule subject to change; variation in start and end times.) Part-time position receives part-time benefits and an added 7% split shift differential on all regular contract hours. Hanford Elementary School District is the largest school district in Kings County servicing nearly 6,000 students and employing over 700 personnel. Our District includes eight TK-6 Elementary schools, one K-8 Spanish Dual Immersion Charter school, two Junior High schools and one Community Day school. Class A or B California State Driver's License with a (P) Passenger Endorsement, California Special Driver Certificate (School Bus), current Medical Examiner's Certificate, and current first aid certification. Must be able to drive a Type 1 School Bus.
