Job Duties/Scope Of Work
HMIS Information Management Services (IMS) Program Management is seeking a manager to lead a services organization of highly skilled professional staff including IT liaisons, IT project support personnel and IT buyer technical representative. In support of an IMS Director, this management position is responsible for oversight and management of the organization, IT subcontracts such as Siteforms, Internet/Telecom Infrastructure support and more, related organizational metrics and reporting and collaborating with IT support organizations, other contractors/subcontractors and business units/customers for IT service fulfillment, IT support and positive customer outcomes.
Candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Manage and lead a team to ensure effective communication and collaboration between IT, customers and business stakeholders.
- Provide organizational leadership to determine priorities, achieve schedule milestones and ensure timely and effective delivery of commitments.
- Ensure team development and implementation of IT strategies that align with business objectives and maintain compliance with policies, procedures and standards.
- Monitor the resolution of IT-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction through the efforts of the organization.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, project reviews, status meetings and more with organization to understand the IT needs, statuses and challenges of various customers/business units.
- Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with peers, staff supporting IMS subcontractors and customer base while demonstrating mutual respect and cooperation. This includes communicating effectively, verbally and in writing, exercising sound judgment and discretion, as well as working well under pressure and efficiently on short turnaround assignments.
- Research and abstract information and supporting data in preparation for meetings, work projects, reports and presentations.
Basic Qualifications
*BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous management and/or leadership experience.
- IT customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills and must be able to interact, present information and respond to all levels of management, peers, and staff.
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support staff during non-standard business hours as needed or as scheduled.
- Proven experience demonstrating ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Desired Qualifications
*5 years of management and/or leadership experience.
- 5 years of IT customer service experience.
- Buyer's Technical Representative qualified and/or Procurement working experience.
- Control Account Manager experience.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Service Platform (ESP) or ticketing systems.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or similar.
- Experience managing a team in a highly regulated environment.
- Familiarity with the IT environment, needs and challenges of the Hanford Site or similar environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Grade 21: $142,038 - $179,113
Grade 22: $159,363 - $209,688
