Job Duties/Scope Of Work
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides training program technical and logistics support for all HMIS organizations under the Hanford Mission Essential Services Contract, other Hanford contractors, and the Department of Energy (DOE). Responsibilities typically include but are not limited to determining training needs, providing logistical support, establishing class schedules, scheduling instructors, preparing class documentation materials, and ensuring training records are compliant with project and facility-specific requirements. Uses databases and other software to accomplish assigned tasks. Works with other team members as part of the Central Training Communications Team.
- Meets with management to determine employee training needs and develop related training plans.
- Determines administrative, system, and collaborative support needed to ensure training programs support project deliverables.
- Interfaces with other site coordinators, subcontractors, and DOE to ensure students are enrolled in appropriate training.
- Performs administrative, system, and collaborative support during the development and design of training programs and services.
- Administers systematized tracking mechanisms that ensure accurate data reconciliation and completion of required training as well as maintenance of accurate data used for ad hoc and standard reporting.
- Organizes, schedules, and assigns instructors to all instructor-led training provided by HMIS Central Training.
- Coordinates scheduling and tracking of required training based on standard and facility-specific training requirements.
- Provides technical assistance to outside users of company training systems.
- Maintains knowledge of safety policies and procedures and performs assigned duties in a safe manner, and, if supervising others, has responsibility for the safety of those being supervised and ensures they comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits.
- Supports operation of the Success Factors Learning Management System (LMS).
- Collaborates with fellow members of the Central Training Communication Team to manage the flow of information, craft messages, and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers. This is achieved through newsletters, email communications, and other channels, ensuring consistent messaging that aligns with the department's goals and the overall company objectives.
Basic Qualifications
* BA/BS plus 1-5 years of experience planning work, training coordination, training development, or project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledgeable of scheduling and training coordination functions, in accordance with detailed guidelines and established procedures.

- Works well in a team environment and has excellent collaboration skills.

- Ability to use project management skills and complete projects by deadline.
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Desired Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in communications or journalism.
- Deep enthusiasm for advanced Database Management processes.
- Knowledge of U.S. DOE Training Orders and requirements desired, but not required for consideration.
- Familiar with operations-based training.
- Experience using a Learning Management System.
