Location: Hanford Post Acute – Skilled Nursing Facility, Hanford, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-Hour Shifts
Pay Rate: $70 per Hour
Job Summary:
Hanford Post Acute is seeking a dedicated RN Supervisor for a temporary 4-6 month assignment to provide leadership and oversight in our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The RN Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a rewarding short-term role in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Lead Nursing Staff: Oversee the daily operations of the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care.
- Patient Care Management: Assess resident conditions, implement care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all nursing activities comply with state, federal, and facility policies and regulations.
- Staff Training & Support: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to nursing staff to promote excellence in patient care.
- Communication & Coordination: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Incident Management: Address and report any incidents, concerns, or changes in patient conditions promptly.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely nursing records in accordance with facility protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active California RN License (Required)
- Minimum 2 Years of RN Experience (Previous SNF experience strongly preferred)
- Supervisory or Leadership Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facility regulations and best practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
