Description
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Consistently ensure order accuracy both at point of order as well as delivery.
- Engage customers while exhibiting a cheerful and helpful attitude.
- Tourguide guests through available food and beverage options, providing an expert understanding of our offerings.
- Maintain, with pride, the cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Report all customer service issues, both positive and negative, directly to management.
- Practice food safety at all times.
- Proper handling, counting, submission and reporting of all personally handled financial sales.
- Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients
- Examine trays to ensure that they contain required items.
- Place food servings on plates or trays according to orders or instructions.
- Load trays with accessories such as eating utensils, napkins, or condiments.
- Take food orders and relay orders to kitchens or serving counters so they can be filled.
- Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, or straws.
- Monitor food preparation or serving techniques to ensure that proper procedures are followed.
- Record amounts and types of special food items served to customers.
- Total checks, present them to customers, and accept payment for services.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year working in a high-volume restaurant.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Ability to bend and stoop.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Demonstrates a commitment to service and organizational values.
- Passion to grow personally and professionally.
- Willingness and openness to be coached in new methods of customer service.
- Comprehension of basic math (addition and subtraction).
