Who We Need
HANGARFOUR, a creative service agency, seeks an organized Account Director, Experiential/Events to join our team. The role will be responsible for managing people as well as oversee multifaceted projects on behalf of the department for the company’s various clients. Client projects may include consumer activations, product launches, press conferences, concerts, gala dinners, cocktail parties, corporate conferences, food and wine festivals, corporate events and hospitality as well as theatrical, performance and sporting based events, of all kinds. This candidate should be an experienced project manager, with a keen eye for detail and have a passion for driving new business as well as identifying production efficiencies and growth opportunities in a very fast-paced environment. He/she will be a proven leader with vast event/activation experience and the ability to manage both an internal team and key client relationships. You will work closely with the Events, Account Services, Creative and other agency teams to manage projects across a variety of experiential accounts, so you must be a collaborator, team-oriented, and passionate. This role sits within the Account Services team and reports to the SVP, Account Services.

Job duties/responsibilities include:
- In conjunction with the Senior Producer, oversee the staffing of producers that are producing events from concept to completion – involving strategy and producer management for each event.
- Represent the department internally regarding new business.
- Responsible for syncing the department’s process with each respective new business deadline. This includes managing any/all creative and design needs. Identify, seek and secure new business opportunities.
- Manage the communication of event project scope, schedules, deliverable dates, project status/action items and any other relevant information – both to the client (as needed) as well as the department.
- Oversee all departmental spending to ensure fiscal responsibility; oversee the organization and reconciliation of project expenses in a timely fashion in accordance with company policies. Find efficiencies in overall departmental spend.
- Prepare internal and external written briefings for clients and for team and/or DKC executive implementation.
- Build and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring that all client’s needs are heard, understood and addressed in a timely manner and clearly articulated to the internal team.
- Interface with outside professionals hired for assigned projects included, but not limited to, freelance producers, event designers, production managers, technical directors, etc.
- Determine personnel requirements, outline team responsibilities and work with any outside agencies to ensure brand representation is second-to-none.
- Oversee all contracts, agreements and all clearances.
- Implement departmental training and relevant education of the industry.
Skills and experience required:
- 8 years of event and/or account project management
- 4 years of human resource management (managing a team, etc.)
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects
- Knowledge of design, production and social media
- An eclectic sense of style and creativity
- Willingness/ability to travel and work long hours, weekends and holidays (as needed)
- Passionate with an entrepreneurial drive
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
