Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team at Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken as a Shift Leader. We are looking for someone who can work 35-40 hours per week with OPEN AVAILABILITY. We offer flexible schedules, a fun work atmosphere, and tip sharing.
The Shift Leader will average $15-18/hr with their tip share!
The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and leading a team to deliver fresh delicious food. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for food preparation, and the ability to foster a positive work environment.
Leadership or management preferred, but not required. Previous restaurant experience is a must.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor team members, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
- Assist in food preparation and culinary tasks as needed, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the GM to implement strategies for improving service quality and team performance.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies during all shifts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the food industry is preferred.
- Excellent team management abilities with a focus on fostering a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
