What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. IT Business Analyst position at Hanker Analytics?

Translate project requirements and liaison with Business and IT from initiation to completion end to end

Analyze and document requirements as user stories, and business rules with thorough UI / UX needs

Plan user acceptance test (UAT), support creation of UAT scripts, and facilitate UAT

Perform any data analysis to support use case feasibility

Analyze and document current and future business processes

Facilitate workshops - storyboarding, translate story-boarding artifacts into an electronic format, and provide input in design sessions

Train the operations team as needed and support them in resolving production issues

Perform knowledge transfer to Training & Communication teams. Support user deployment activities as needed.

Must build strong relationships with our stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

7 years of experience analyzing business requirements supporting medium to large-scale projects
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent preferred
Strong experience in Agile methodology and working in Scrum teams. Scrum certification is a plus.
Strong experience with documenting Epics, User Stories, and Spikes using a scrum tool such as JIRA
Working knowledge of using collaboration tools such as Miro, Jamboard, etc
Demonstrated success in handling initiatives of high complexity and a problem-solving mindset
Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have an agile mindset
Experience in UI / UX design, especially dashboard design, is preferred
IBAA-CBAP or similar certification is preferred
Advanced experience with data visualization and business intelligence software (ETL, Data Integration, Master Data Management, Tableau / PowerBI / Qlik, SAS) is preferred
Strong SQL experience is preferred
Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences industry knowledge is highly preferred
