About the Position
Hanley Investment Group - Real Estate Advisors is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst-Real Estate to support our Retail Investment Sales team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing financial data, preparing investment packages, and providing actionable insights to drive successful retail investment transactions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level support to multiple real estate professionals.
- Prioritize various projects and meet deadlines daily among several agents.
- Understand retail investments sales including financial underwriting, market economics, and industry terms.
- Analyze and underwrite retail real estate assets nationwide.
- Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities and assess associated risks.
- Create detailed financial models using Argus and Excel software.
- Conduct research on ownership title, sales and lease comparables, development, and market competition.
- Maintain an existing CRM database of clients, properties, and deals.
Candidate Qualifications:
Hard Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excel formula creation and manipulation for financial modeling and data analysis.
- Familiarity with CRE research applications (CoStar, Crexi, etc.)
- Strong understanding of real estate finance, capital markets, and retail property operations.
