SUMMARY
The Quality Control Administrator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of credit-related data across the organization. This role develops and enforces data quality standards, implements governance policies, and provides training to ensure all credit data is entered correctly and uniformly across business units. The position plays a key role in regulatory compliance, process efficiency, and system integration by ensuring data is captured accurately the first time, reducing errors, and minimizing the need for rework.
Ensures compliance with established Bank policies and procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act), Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation DD (Truth in Savings Act) Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd Frank Act), Elder Abuse Laws, Bank Secrecy Act in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Information Program, Right to Financial Privacy Act (state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act.
REQUIRED DUTIES
1. Oversee the management and governance of credit data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
2. Develop, implement, and enforce quality control policies and procedures related to credit data management.
3. Monitor and maintain data quality, accuracy, and integrity, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
4. Ensure that critical data elements (CDEs) are properly documented, controlled, and updated across systems.
5. Work closely with risk, compliance, and IT teams to uphold data security and privacy regulations.
6. Develop and maintain clear documentation of data elements, required loan documentation, and data entry processes.
7. Train credit quality review teams on best practices for credit data entry, governance, and reporting.
8. Conduct regular audits and assessments of credit data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
9. Provide guidance to business units on corrective actions when data issues are detected.
10. Create and implement internal edit check reports to monitor and ensure data integrity.
11. Collaborate with business units to standardize credit data entry, reducing redundancies and improving efficiency.
12. Partner with business intelligence and IT teams to ensure accurate integration of credit data into reporting and analytics platforms.
13. Identify opportunities to enhance automation and efficiency in credit data management.
14. Analyze data trends and provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
15. Participate in cross-functional committees and governance forums to drive ongoing improvements in credit data quality and management.
16. Assists in the preparation and maintenance of reports as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field; High School Diploma and seven (7) or more years of related experience and/or training. Work related experience must consist of a credit analysis or other credit related background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
• Experience with credit data analysis, reporting tools, and database management systems.
• Experience in Finance, Credit Administration, Information Technology, or Data Management.
• 3 years of experience in data management, with a focus on credit data.
• Strong knowledge of credit data governance principles and best practices.
• Certifications in data management or data governance (e.g., DAMA, CDMP).
• Experience with data security, regulatory compliance, and privacy regulations.
• Proficiency in data management tools, reporting solutions, and Excel.
• Knowledge of database management systems and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with cloud data storage and management solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Strong problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.
• Able to handle multiple transactions at once and work well in a team-oriented environment
• Strong customer service skills, relationship development and management skills
• Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
• Intermediate typing skills to meet production needs of the position.
• Intermediate math skills; ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write reports, correspondence and procedures, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
• Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
• Ability to work with no supervision while performing duties.
Pay $80,000 - $130,000 per year. The salary reflects the full, reasonably expected salary range for this position. Salary is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates may be eligible for bonus, stock, commissions, and incentives at the Company’s sole discretion.
