Essential Functions:
- Oversee and streamline day-to-day operations of the Community Mental Health Hub. Ensure smooth coordination between clinical staff, administrative teams, and external partners to facilitate the delivery of mental health services.
- Supervise and support administrative and support staff, fostering a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment. Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to promote professional development and ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage for all client appointments, treatment sessions, and administrative duties. Address staffing gaps and adjust resources as needed to meet service demands.
- Ensure all operational processes comply with contractual obligations, grant requirements, and relevant regulatory standards. Monitor service delivery to meet or exceed performance goals, including quality assurance benchmarks and documentation standards.
- Assist in the development and management of the department’s operational budget. Monitor financial performance to ensure that expenditures align with budgeted allocations, working with the Clinical Director to address any discrepancies.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of operational data, ensuring accuracy in reporting and using data to inform operational improvements. Prepare and submit reports on operational performance to the Clinical Director and other senior leaders.
- Support the implementation of new programs or changes to existing services, ensuring that all necessary resources and staff are in place for success. Contribute to the development of new service offerings in alignment with the Hub’s mission and community needs.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff, as well as community partners, to support service delivery and enhance program effectiveness. Foster strong working relationships with external partners, funders, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure efficient, compliant, and trauma-informed operational practices. Support the Clinical Director in ensuring that operations are in line with the overall strategic direction of the Hub.
- Supervise administrative staff, ensuring that they perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
- Typical office environment. Based on business needs; your responsibilities may require offsite meetings, conferences, or trainings.
- This position requires the ability to sit, bend, squat, stoop, and walk-up flight of stairs and able to safely lift 50 pounds and carry 20 pounds. Reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers to handle objects and operate tools, computers, and/or controls.
- Must be able to operate a computer, printer, calculator, and telephone communication.
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Business Administration).
- At least 3–5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within behavioral health or healthcare settings.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health service delivery, clinical operations, and administrative processes.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working with Medicaid, insurance billing processes, and grant management.
- Familiarity with data collection and reporting for compliance and performance tracking.
- Must clear background check for a Community Care Licensed facility, including physical, tb and drug test.
- Must successfully complete: Mandated Child Abuse Reporting, Ethical Standards, and Crossing Boundaries of Employee Conduct.
- Must have valid Driver’s License and ability to be insured by Company policy.
- Must be able to demonstrate functionality in most of the core competencies.
- Requires flexibility and the ability to manage time and multiple tasks.
