Dealership Accounting Lead – Join Our Growing Team!

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Dealership Accounting Lead to support our fast-paced automotive dealership with essential accounting operations. If you have a strong background in dealership accounting and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, we want to hear from you!

Location: Raleigh, NC
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday - 8am-5pm

What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily postings for bank fundings, chargebacks, and deposits

• Reconcile credit card batches, petty cash, and monthly payables

• Process vehicle sales, purchases, payoffs, and wholesale deals

• Ensure deal jackets are complete and IRS cash reporting is submitted

• Verify and remit warranty and aftermarket product payments

• Handle cancellations, finance reserves, and chargebacks

• Generate reports on outstanding funds and assist with payroll prep

• Support title processing and cross-train on other accounting duties

• Collaborate with the Controller and Office Manager on daily needs

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience in dealership accounting (minimum 2–3 years preferred)

• Familiarity with Dealertrack or similar DMS

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities

• Team player with a proactive mindset
