What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Staff position at Hanna Z?
Hanna Z Social Day Program is looking for a dedicated Service Staff will work directly with our program participants in activities including games, crafts, providing care and companionship.
Duties:
Provide care and supervision for program participants.
Assist with personal care needs as outlined in participants’ individualized service plans.
Monitor and supervise participants during activities, ensuring safety and engagement.
Redirect participants attempting to leave the program.
Attend required training and meet training requirements outlined in the Policy and
Procedure Manual.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate.
2. Capable of performing tasks assigned by supervisors or the Center Director.
3. Demonstrate competence in helping others through work history or references.
4. Qualified by education, training, or experience to meet program needs.
5. Physically capable of assisting frail elderly or disabled adults as necessary.
6. Must provide a health examination signed by a physician, TB clearance, and current
CPR/First Aid certification or obtain it within six months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current HHA/PCA Certification
