Bilingual Spanish/English a Must
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
Master's Degree in Education
Current State Teaching License or appropriate Dept. of Education variance/waiver.
Stays current in subject matter, knowledge and learning theory and is willing to share information with other staff.
Teaching English as a second language/teaching English to speakers of other languages certification or other languages certification or other appropriate accrediting body and additional training to meet the special need of unaccompanied children.
Plan & Implement a program of instruction
Implement instructional activities
Modifies, plans, and implements instructional resources, including lesson plans to meet the needs of students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
Offers plans for improvement of curriculum and follows approved curriculum
Effective Communication both orally and written with students and staff
Maintains appropriate work habits
Provides positive learning environment
Coordinates activities for Teacher Assistant to handle
Recognizes learning opportunities and makes referrals as needed
Maintains efficient record keeping procedures
