Seeking experienced police officer with a proven history of building strong community/police relationships. The selected person will need to serve and protect the Hannahville Indian Community through active law enforcement. functions include all aspects of police patrol duties under applicable Tribal, State and Federal jurisdiction including criminal investigations, answering calls for service, rendering assistance where needed and promoting a community policing environment. High school diploma or GED; MCOLES licensed or licensable; valid driver's license; must be at least 21 years of age; pass department background and alcohol and drug testing; must be able to communicate well orally and in writing; make accurate decisions under pressure; obtain BIA-SLEC certification. Must have Associate degree or higher; community policing experience and prior police experience preferred.
