Weekend / On Call Requirements : Every other weekend may be required
First Time Traveler : Yes
Scrub Color : Black
Job Requirements
MO State or Compact RN license required
ACLS must be AHA. Required for Med Surg-Tele, ICU, Stepdown, ED, Cath Lab, and OR. Not required for Inpatient Rehab and Med Surg.
BLS - Basic Life Support
NIH Stroke Certification required for ED, ICU, MS / Tele, Tele, and Step Down.
Schedule Information
13 weeks
Blocked scheduling ok - may not be added to contract but can discuss with manager
No locals - 60 mile radius rule
Unit Specific Information
Criteria for Admission to Medical Telemetry : Routine nursing care accommodated by an RN / Patient ratio of 5 : 1
Patients who need a Nursing assessment every 8 hours
Patients who need Vital signs every 8 hours routinely
Cardiac monitoring
Hemodynamically stable dysrhythmia
Strong suspicion of non-ST segment Elevate Myocardial Infarction (non-STEMI) or unstable coronary syndrome by history, electrocardiogram, or labs for cardiac injury with resolution of chest pain and without hemodynamic instability or life threatening arrhythmias.
