Hannibal Regional Healthcare System in Hannibal, Missouri is seeking a therapeutic medical physicist to support clinical physics coverage in Hannibal, Missouri at the Cary Cancer Center. The Cary Cancer Center opened in 2003 and has been providing progressive cancer care for members of our community. Currently the Cary Cancer Center is a one linear accelerator facility with an Elekta Infinity and plans for replacement of the linear accelerator in 2026. Treatment types include 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and IGRT. Our record and verify system is Elekta Mosaiq and CT simulator is Philips Brilliance Big Bore. Treatment planning system is Raystation. We are seeking a physicist to join our experienced team of one radiation oncologist, 3 radiation therapists, oncology nurse navigator, and registered nurse. Dosimetry coverage is provided off site by 2 certified medical dosimetrists.
Responsible for the quality control and radiation safety program in the radiation therapy department, including calibration of all equipment, and assisting the dosimetrist in treatment planning.
