What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Recruiter position at Hanon Systems?
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position takes the lead on sourcing candidates, developing a pool of qualified candidates in advance of a need, selecting new employees, and screening employees wishing to transfer to work in various departments and facilities of Hanon Systems. The incumbent participates as part of the Hanon Systems talent acquisition team to fill open positions and create a robust talent pipeline. Identifies and pursues creative sources of qualified applicants to meet the needs of the business for new employees. This role also significantly involves onboarding new employees, coaching and mentors hiring managers. It is positioned as a subject matter expert by participating in strategic sessions with HRBP's and Hanon Systems Hiring Leaders. When not hiring, this position will perform HR Generalist activities to support the Americas Innovation Center.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
- Focuses on identifying and sourcing qualified candidates for open positions
- Utilizes metrics and recruitment tools to develop strategies and recruitment campaigns
- Establishes relationships with hiring managers and key leaders to understand the business, obtain knowledge about the department’s objectives, and work culture
- Lead and coordinate various talent acquisition activities, including job fairs, campus visits, conferences, seminars, meet and greets, open houses, etc
- Create and implement employment-marketing strategies to attract passive job seekers
- Develop strong relationships and collaborate with hiring managers
- Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against the job-related criteria
- Screen resumes and conducts pre-screening interviews of candidates
- Coordinate interviews with Hiring Manager by phone, TEAMS or in person
- Continuously follow up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure transparency during the hiring process
- Maintain relationships with all candidates and communicates final decisions in a timely manner
- Coordinate onboarding activities and start date details
- Communicate important employment information as part of the offer process (i.e., benefits, compensation, etc.)
- Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and provide consistent reporting to leadership
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, and exits; compensation; leaves of absence; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; recognition and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Performs other HR Generalist duties as assigned
Years of Experience:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in recruiting is required
Education:
- BS/BA Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business or related major preferred
