Hanover Avenue is seeking an Interior Designer to join our existing crew!
We are an established interior design firm located on Richmond’s Historic Monument Avenue. Along with a derpy Frenchie named Souvenir, we are a happy and creative team that works around the country and abroad on both residential and boutique commercial projects. At the moment, we are designing a variety of incredible residential projects throughout the region for some of the most darling clients!
As an Interior Designer, you’ll be contributing to our success by collaborating with team members on all phases of project design. You will be working under the direction of our Senior Designer & Principal to create finish, fabric, and furnishings palettes and source materials. You will be expected to contribute to project-related tasks, client meetings, and contractor communications. In addition, you will be responsible for working within client furnishings budgets to ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget.

- Minimum 2 years experience, focused in high-end residential design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Excel. * Proficiency in Studio Designer is a major bonus!
- Proven organizational abilities and attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects across various phases
- Experience in management and coordination of FF&E specification deliverables/implementation and available vendor/fabricators
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable interfacing with clients, vendors, architects, and builders.
- Must be able to perform field visits/measurements and design production services including site visits, reviewing control samples and shop drawings, coordinating with consultants, manufacturers, and contractors.
- Must have a reliable car and be willing to travel regionally.
- An ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, a self-starter, organized, efficient, ambitious, and VERY dependable.
This is a full time position with full benefits and a competitive vacation package. Our business hours are M-F, 9-5.
