What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Production Specialist 5 - Wilder, VT - Full Time position at Hanover Co-op?
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Production of all Prepared Foods items following established recipes, accurately and efficiently, ensuring a quality product.
- Participate in the development of new products.
- Follow systems in place to promote efficient operation of department
- Adhere to strict food safety regulations.
- Can weigh, wrap and package prepared foods.
- Clean assigned areas to maintain safe and sanitary conditions. Cleans shelves, bins, tables, coolers and floor on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Consult with Production Manager or Production Supervisor on and participate in planning meetings for execution of new products
- Maintain appropriate in-stock levels without excessive back stock. May re-order supplies and product from suppliers based on inventory requirements.
- Able to maintain operations of the department in the absence of the Production Manager or Production Supervisor. May direct the work of others as needed.
Qualifications:
High school or equivalent.
Kitchen experience required.
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. comfortably on a regular basis.
Must be a team player and have a willingness to teach and to learn
