JOB SUMMARY:
Hanover Bank is looking for a full-time Post-Closing Administrator who will be responsible for the overall safekeeping of loan collateral-documents and to monitor receipt of original loan closing documents/collateral and to ensure proper and timely lien perfection.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process receipt of original loan closing collateral packages to include logging, reviewing, imaging and storing of all documents.
- Process receipt of recorded mortgage security instruments, ensuring documents are appropriately imaged and stored.
- Appropriately update work statuses and locations in Bank’s document management repository, loan origination and loan servicing platforms to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Provide follow-up assistance for outstanding items and loan documentation.
- Validate UCC1 filings through Bank’s vendor and file UCC when necessary.
- Coordinate delivery of collateral with Bank counsel for Loan Assignments.
- Monitor for all Paid Off and Assigned Loan and ship to Bank’s offsite storage vendor.
- Process document requests in connection with Bank subpoena requests.
- Assist with all special projects as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify improvement opportunities, evaluate options and develop solutions.
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and loan servicing platforms
- Strong sense of integrity and personal ethics.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3 years of experience in handling loan documents for the following loan types residential, consumer, multifamily, commercial real estate, and commercial loans.
- Associates/bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within the banking/financial services industry within the areas of loan servicing and operations.

Hourly Range: $26.00 - $31.00; placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level.
