What are the responsibilities and job description for the Department Specialist - Dairy Dept. - Lebanon Store - Full time position at Hanover Consumer Cooperateive Society Inc?
Job Summary: Prepare, cut, stock and maintain product for retail sale. Ensure compliance with all Catapult functions to include, but not limited to, Purchase Orders, inventory, cycle counts, special orders, inter-store transfers, etc. (see Catapult Competencies, attached.)
- Ensure compliance with all Catapult competencies which include, but are not limited to, purchase orders, inventory, cycle counts, special orders, inter-store transfers, etc.
- Stock and rotate product according to standards to give a full, pleasing appearance on shelves and/or display cases/coolers/refrigerated units.
- Reset sections to accommodate new products or to discontinue slower selling items that can no longer be sold.
- Clean assigned areas to maintain safe and sanitary conditions including but not limited to cases, bins, tables, and coolers on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Adhere to Merchandising pricing for all product.
Qualifications
High School or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to provide customers a high level of service by responding quickly to customers, giving direct eye contact, listening carefully to customers requests, suggesting alternative products for those not available, and addressing any unresolved questions by taking name and phone number and ensuring follow up.
ServSafe certification is preferred, not required.
