Director of Finance and Management Services
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and team-oriented individual to lead our finance and management services. As Director, you will oversee the financial management and planning of Hanover County, ensuring accurate and prompt financial reporting, budget development, and implementation of best financial practices.
The Director will lead a skilled team within three departmental divisions – Accounting, Budget, and Purchasing – that touches every department and organizational component within the County. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, integrity, and accuracy in all interactions with stakeholders.
This role serves as a key advisor to the Deputy and County Administrator on various financial matters and aids in long-term planning for the County. You will also contribute to a dedicated group of senior leaders who align the Board of Supervisors' priorities into action.
