General Description :
Position is responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and coaching instruction at a large public high school. Responsibilities may include supervising teams at varsity and junior varsity levels.
Essential Duties :
Qualifications : KSA's, Education
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
In-depth knowledge and advanced strategies of applicable sport. Knowledge of VHSL rules. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to mentor and develop players in a positive way. Desire to teach and improve skill development. Must pass criminal record check.
Education and Experience :
Required : Previous experience as a player and / or coaching at the high school level.
Preferred : Valid teaching license in a high school curriculum area.
A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
Terms of Employment
Work Schedule : Fall Sports - July 28, 2025 thru November 30, 2025
Pay Grade : 8
