Position Details
- Location: Hanover, PA
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday with occasional flexibility for weekend or evening transportation needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident Transportation: Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other scheduled destinations.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Plan and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and efficient transportation arrangements.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between residents, families, healthcare providers, and staff regarding transportation and appointment details.
- Resident Assistance: Provide courteous, hands-on assistance to residents when boarding or exiting the vehicle.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of the facility vehicle.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate documentation of appointments, transportation schedules, and resident needs.
Qualifications
- Driver’s License: Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Preferred Certification: CNA certification is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on resident safety and comfort.
- Experience: Previous experience in healthcare or geriatrics is a plus.
