Overview:
The Hanover Township Fire Department is seeking a skilled Part-time Maintenance/Firefighter/EMT to perform various tasks related to fire department equipment maintenance, emergency response, and medical assistance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of fire department equipment, including vehicles, tools, and apparatus
- Response to emergency calls, providing medical assistance and other necessary services
- Routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment
- Collaboration with other emergency responders to ensure effective response to emergencies
Eligibility Requirements:
- High School Graduate or G.E.D.
- Valid Driver's License
- Pennsylvania Firefight 1 or acceptable equivalent
- Pennsylvania E.M.T. or First Responder Certification
- Pennsylvania Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification
- Minimum 3 years experience in Fire-Rescue Services
- Pennsylvania Basic Vehicle Rescue Certification or acceptable equivalent
- National Incident Management course I.C.S., #100 and I.C.S. #700
