About this Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Part-time Maintenance/Firefighter/EMT to join our team at the Hanover Township Fire Department. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining fire department equipment, responding to emergency calls, and providing medical assistance as needed.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Maintenance of fire department equipment and apparatus
- Response to emergency calls, providing medical assistance and other necessary services
- Routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment
- Collaboration with other emergency responders to ensure effective response to emergencies
- High School Graduate or G.E.D.
- Valid Driver's License
- Pennsylvania Firefight 1 or acceptable equivalent
- Pennsylvania E.M.T. or First Responder Certification
- Pennsylvania Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification
- Minimum 3 years experience in Fire-Rescue Services
- Pennsylvania Basic Vehicle Rescue Certification or acceptable equivalent
- National Incident Management course I.C.S., #100 and I.C.S. #700
