Job Title: Maintenance Crew Member
The Hanover Township Fire Department is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Crew Member to join their team. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on fire equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair fire equipment, vehicles, and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Assist with emergency response situations by providing support to firefighters and other personnel.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve safety and efficiency in maintenance operations.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or G.E.D.
- Valid Driver's License
- Pennsylvania Firefight 1 or acceptable equivalent certification
- Pennsylvania E.M.T. or First Responder Certification
- Pennsylvania Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification
- Minimum 3 years experience in Fire-Rescue Services
- Pennsylvania Basic Vehicle Rescue Certification or acceptable equivalent
- National Incident Management course I.C.S., #100 and I.C.S. #700
