Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the established quality standards through meticulous inspection and testing. This role requires a strong understanding of quality systems, quality assurance, and quality management practices. The Quality Control Inspector will utilize various measuring tools and techniques to verify product specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
- Assist in training team members on quality assurance practices and the use of inspection tools.
- Monitor production processes for adherence to quality standards and recommend improvements where applicable.
- Support audits related to quality systems and assist in maintaining certifications as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and CMM equipment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve quality objectives.
