Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Junior . Net Developer. The primary role of the Junior .NET Developer is to develop and maintain the existing ERP and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) systems using Visual Basic (VB) and C# .NET frameworks. In this role, the Junior .NET Developer will oversee IT projects, facilitate the implementation and enhancement of the site’s computer systems, perform debugging tasks, and report to the facility IT Supervisor. The Junior .NET Developer may also be assigned additional IT support tasks by the IT Supervisor as needed. The Junior .NET Developer is expected to possess strong programming skills, a deep knowledge of database systems, and proficiency in general IT software/hardware applications.
Responsibilities
- Strong communication skills and teamwork.
- Great understanding of information technology, computer programming and management information systems.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, programs including but not limited to C#, Java Script, Web API, Cloud Platform,
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design concepts and Agile Methodologies.
- Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize multiple duties and tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proven record of complex problem solving and decision making.
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET Framework 4.0 and above.
- Analyze, design, develop, debug, test, document and deploy Windows applications and web programming.
- Implement new features into the existing ERP and MES programs.
- Create and test software prototypes.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams of engineers and end-users.
- Conduct performance testing, tuning, and optimization of the existing system.
- Enhance and support the current ERP and MES system using .NET , VB and C#.
- Coordinate with fellow software professionals and developers.
- Analyze and develop process flows for the transformation of raw materials to finished goods.
- Reviewing and monitoring implementation and change activities.
- Create process/feature work instructions and conduct end user training as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Be available for on call support as needed during weekends or after work hours for urgent situations
- requiring immediate IT intervention.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
