The Service Drive Support role is a dynamic and multifaceted position essential to the efficient operation of the Service Department. This position combines responsibilities across Concierge services, Valet duties, Business Development Center (BDC) support, and TSD loaner vehicle management to ensure an exceptional customer experience and seamless service drive operation.

The Service Drive Support position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $20.00.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Concierge Duties:
• Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist with their immediate needs.
• Provide clear communication about the service process, wait times, and amenities available.
• Offer personalized assistance, including transportation options, refreshments, and vehicle-related questions.
2. Valet Services:
• Safely and efficiently move customer vehicles within the dealership premises, including parking, retrieval, and staging on the service drive.
• Conduct initial walkarounds to identify vehicle condition and document findings for service records.
• Maintain a clean and organized service drive area, ensuring it is always customer-ready.
3. Business Development Center (BDC) Support:
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or text promptly and professionally.
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate loaner vehicle requests as needed.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
4. TSD Loaner Management:
• Oversee the administration of the loaner vehicle program using the TSD software system.
• Coordinate loaner vehicle check-in and check-out processes, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
• Monitor the loaner fleet’s availability, maintenance schedules, and cleanliness to meet customer demands.
• Track vehicle usage, mileage, and condition to minimize operational risks and expenses.
• Communicate with customers regarding loaner vehicle policies and handle any escalations or issues professionally.
5. Customer Experience Excellence:
• Act as a liaison between customers and service advisors, ensuring smooth communication.
• Anticipate customer needs and provide proactive solutions to enhance their dealership experience.
• Uphold Subaru’s Love Promise Customer Commitment and professionalism at all times.
6. Operational Support:
• Assist with administrative tasks such as updating customer records, preparing service estimates, and managing vehicle logs.
• Support the service team during peak times with additional duties as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of Subaru products, services, and promotions to assist customers effectively.
Qualifications:
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Familiarity with TSD loaner vehicle management software or similar systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a professional and welcoming service area.
• Previous experience in a dealership, concierge, valet, BDC, or loaner management role is preferred but not required.
• Pass a criminal background screening.
• Pass a drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods.
• Capability to work in varying weather conditions when performing valet duties.
