Our client, a renowned regional healthcare provider, is seeking a contract IT Project Manager.
Location : Seattle, WA (Hybrid Remote)
Length of Assignment : 12 Months

Summary :
The IT Project Manager will engage fully with assigned Construction Project Managers, Integration Project Managers, and Project Coordinators throughout the Planning, Design, and Construction phases. This role requires close partnership with Architects, Designers, Medical Equipment Teams, Signage, Construction Vendors, Electrical / Mechanical Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that technology is captured correctly and meets IT standards and business needs. The IT Project Manager will manage financial budgets for IT resources and equipment, maintain project schedules for IT resources and their activities, and ensure that IT major milestones are aligned with the Construction Crew's schedule.
Key responsibilities include managing high-level project status in the IT PMO project portfolio, conducting bi-weekly status reporting, maintaining project artifacts on the Project SharePoint site, and participating in project gating milestones and quality reviews. The IT Project Manager will proactively track and manage project issues and risks, engage confidently with various levels of the organization, and handle complex and political environments effectively.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating technical competence.
- Minimum of five (5) years managing complex information technology infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Project Management Life Cycle (Initiate, Plan & Organize, Design [Schematic and Detail], Implement, and Close) including project gating, quality reviews, and project artifacts.
- Vendor management experience.
- Proficiency with MS Project and / or Smartsheet, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Visio, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, and PPM Pro or similar Portfolio Management Software.
- Understanding of waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- Strong knowledge and experience with construction, including the ability to read and validate technology requirements on blueprints and ensure IT standards are adhered to during construction box walks.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills across various levels of personnel and diverse audiences.
- Good understanding of change management methods and approaches.
- Expert knowledge of problem-solving approaches and ability to engage the collective knowledge of the project team to define problems and present effective solutions.

Estimated compensation for this role is widely dependent upon candidates' skills and experience level and ranges from $50.00 to $80.00 per hour.
